Sold out. Just like that.
Over 10,000 tickets for Super Junior's Singapore concert dates on the 18 and 19 Feb were all fully sold over the weekend.
OCBC Card members were given first dibs when tickets went on sale on Saturday at 10am through online, phone and over the counter Sistic channels. Ticket sales went public on Sunday.
Wendy Ng, producer of concert organisers Running Into the Sun, said in a statement, "We were confident that Super Junior fans would definitely fill two full-house nights in Singapore, especially since this is the first stop across Southeast Asia."
She added that extra effort was made to reserve tickets across all categories for public sale, so that everyone was given a fair chance to buy tickets.
Tickets are priced at $168 for the balcony and $228 for the arena, terrace & mosh pit.
Last week, the K-pop supergroup added an extra night to their original concert date of 18 Feb to cater to the overwhelming demand from fans.
Said Beatrice Chia-Richmond, the creative director of Running Into The Sun, "It is for us a great way to start 2012 - Super Show 4 will now run for two nights in Singapore, which means double the number of tickets available for fans. Based on the numerous requests we've received asking for an additional night, we trust this will be good news for fans."
Super Show 4 in Singapore will be SuJu's first stop across Southeast Asia.
Some highlights of the Super Show 4: a huge stage with three runways, two main stages and one giant water fountain for a 360-degree view that will offer an up-close, dynamic view of the show from all areas of the stadium.
The three-hour long concert also promises to bring the entire original show from Seoul, complete with SuJu's famous dance moves, said Running into the Sun.
